Volunteer Roles - Fundraising

This sub-commitee is responsible for raising money to fund the clubs core activities, related to delivering football training and games as well as any opportunity to engage in education and campaigning.  The main ways that we achieve that can be split up into separate 3 areas:

  • Making and selling UGFC merchandise
  • Organising and running events and fundraisers from gigs and club nights - to film & quiz nights
  • Online fundraising like crowd funding campaigns and gaining supporter donations.

We are looking for dedicated volunteers to work within these areas; to work as a whole to develop United Glasgow funding strategy and to feed back to the UGFC committee. Being part of this group will give you the opportunity to develop your organisational skills and enterprise. As volunteer of the Funding Committee, we will be looking for you to work on 1 or more of the above areas as well as contributing to the group as a whole.  Each group should work autonomously while having regular meetings of all groups to get feedback on your given area.  During these group meetings we would require that the roles of Chairperson Secretary rotate members. We find this encourages everyone to get involved and while benefiting from the responsibility of the temporary role.

If you are interested in any of the following roles, contact us with the form at the bottom of the page.
