United Glasgow's Women's Football
Since 2013, United Glasgow Football Club has been helping more and more women play football - regardless of background or previous experience. We currently operate sessions at various ability levels and on different nights of the week, building up to our 11-a-side team.
United Glasgow FC's women's 11-a-side team was founded for the 2015 season and plays in the Scottish Women's Football League set-up Division 2. They are coached by George Francis and Stephen Fullerton and play their home games at Scotstoun Stadium.
We're a new(ish) team but with an experienced core of players who're all happy to welcome new players all the time. We're always happy to add new players to the squad and you're more than welcome to come along to train with the team.
Training is every Wednesday night at 9pm at the Firhill Complex, Hopehill Road, G20 7HH.
Monday Night Football
Open to women of all footballing levels (especially beginners), our drop-in sessions have been running at the Firhill Complex in Maryhill since October 2013 and they are a great opportunity for people to come along and get involved in football. These sessions are coached by Jazz Rogers and Emma Porteous.
We only ask for £1 if players are working, we offer basic coaching and fun games for players of all abilities and previous experiences. Whether you've never played before or you've not played the game for a while, all are welcome at the drop-in sessions.
Every Monday, 7.30pm at the Firhill Complex (Hopehill Road, G20 7HH).
